P0A95-123 - High Voltage Fuse

DESCRIPTION





WIRING DIAGRAM

Refer to the Wiring Diagram for DTC P0B3D-123 P0B3D.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

CAUTION:
- Before inspecting the high-voltage system, take safety precautions to prevent electrical shocks, such as wearing insulated gloves and removing the service plug grip. After removing the service plug grip, put it in your pocket to prevent other technicians from accidentally reconnecting it while you are working on the high-voltage system.
- After disconnecting the service plug grip, wait for at least 10 minutes before touching any of the high-voltage connectors or terminals.
HINT
At least 10 minutes is required to discharge the high-voltage capacitor inside the inverter with converter assembly.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (DTC P0A1F IS OUTPUT) P0A7F

B -- GO TO DTC P0AFC-123 P0AFC-123
A -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK EV BATTERY FUSE (HIGH VOLTAGE FUSE)

CAUTION:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

(a) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

(b) Check that the service plug grip is not installed.

NOTICE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the ignition switch ON (READY), unless instructed by the repair manual because this may cause a malfunction.

(c) Remove the fuse block cover Removal.

(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard Resistance:





HINT
It is not necessary to remove the EV battery fuse when checking.

NG -- REPLACE EV BATTERY FUSE Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK ELECTRIC VEHICLE BATTERY PLUG ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

(a) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

(b) Check that the service plug grip is not installed.

NOTICE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the ignition switch ON (READY), unless instructed by the repair manual because this may cause a malfunction.

(c) Remove the battery cover Removal.

(d) Remove the nut shown in the illustration.





(e) Disconnect the connector shown in the illustration.

(f) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE ELECTRIC VEHICLE BATTERY PLUG ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK MAIN BATTERY CABLE

CAUTION:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

(a) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

(b) Check that the service plug grip is not installed.

NOTICE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the ignition switch ON (READY), unless instructed by the repair manual because this may cause a malfunction.

(c) Remove the battery cover Removal.

(d) Remove the nut shown in the illustration.





(e) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
