ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: FUEL LID OPENER SYSTEM: PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the terminal is reconnected.





1. IGNITION SWITCH EXPRESSION

HINT
The type of ignition switch used on this model differs according to the specifications of the vehicle. The expressions listed in the table below are used in this section.





2. PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING TECHSTREAM

(a) When using the Techstream with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot:

Connect the Techstream to the vehicle, and turn the courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5- second intervals until communication between the tester and vehicles begins.

(b) After all DTCs are cleared, check if the trouble occurs again 6 seconds after the ignition switch is turned ON.
