Door Lock - Smart Key System





DOOR LOCK: SMART KEY SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the D40 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.





(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, the wire harness may have a malfunction.

(c) Reconnect the D40 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.

(d) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.









If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

(e) Inspect using an oscilloscope.

(f) Inspect using an oscilloscope.

2. MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)

(a) Disconnect the 1M and 1F junction block connectors.

(b) Disconnect the D9 main body ECU (instrument panel junction block) connector.





(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, the wire harness may have a malfunction.

(d) Reconnect the 1M and 1F junction block connectors.

(e) Reconnect the D9 main body ECU (instrument panel junction block ) connector.

(f) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
