DESCRIPTION
The clock assembly uses this circuit to communicate with combination meter assembly via the direct line. The clock assembly uses this circuit to receive the DISP switch signal from the combination meter assembly via the direct line and multi-information display signal from each ECU through the combination meter assembly via the direct line.
HINT
Each ECU outputs DTCs when a system has a malfunction.

(a) Check if CAN communication DTC is output.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLOCK ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER)
(a) Disconnect the E11 clock and E1 meter connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
(a) Reconnect the E1 meter connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- REPLACE CLOCK ASSEMBLY Removal
