BRAKE CONTROL: FRONT SPEED SENSOR: REMOVAL

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
* The following procedure is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER

HINT
It is not necessary to fully remove the fender liner. Partially remove it so that the speed sensor connector can be disconnected in a later step.

3. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the front speed sensor connector and remove the 2 clamps.





(b) Remove the bolt and No. 2 sensor clamp from the body.

(c) Remove the bolt, No. 1 sensor clamp and flexible hose as a set from the shock absorber assembly.

(d) Remove the resin clamp.

NOTICE:
* Prevent foreign matter from adhering to the front speed sensor tip.
* Clean the sensor installation hole and contact surface every time the sensor is removed.

(e) Remove the bolt and speed sensor.
