Removal

P313 HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: SHIFT LEVER POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Coolant (for Engine)

2. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the nut from the control shaft lever.





(b) Disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the control shaft lever.

(c) Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly with the clip from the transmission control cable bracket.

(d) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the clip from the transmission control cable assembly.





3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER POSITION SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the shift lever position sensor connector.





(b) Remove the nut, washer and control shaft lever.





(c) Using a screwdriver, pry out the lock plate.

(e) Remove the 2 bolts and pull out the shift lever position sensor.
