THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ENTRY LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH (for Rear): REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

2. REMOVE REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH Removal

3. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL LH Disassembly

4. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP COVER LH Disassembly

5. REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly

7. REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Disassembly

8. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH Removal

9. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER LH Disassembly

10. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Using a T30 "TORX" wrench, loosen the screw.





(b) Disconnect the connector.

(c) Remove the handle by sliding and pulling it in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
