SEAT: REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY: DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

HINT
* Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER BOLT COVER

(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

2. REMOVE NO. 2 RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

(a) Remove the screw and release handle.

3. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER LH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Detach the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and then remove the cover.

4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER RH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Detach the 5 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and then remove the cover.

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT REAR BRACKET COVER REAR

(a) Detach the 2 claws and cover.

6. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 SEAT LEG COVER LH

(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the spring of the seat stay ball-joint.

(b) Disconnect the seat stay.

(c) Remove the 2 screws and seat leg cover.

7. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT LEG COVER NO. 2

(a) Remove the screw and cover.

8. REMOVE 3RD SEAT LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the bolt, nut and seat link.

9. REMOVE 3RD SEAT CUSHION LOCK COVER

(a) Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 covers.

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER LH

(a) Detach the 16 claws.

(b) Remove the 7 screws and cover.

11. REMOVE NO. 3 SEAT FRONT BRACKET COVER LH

(a) Detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.

12. REMOVE NO. 3 SEAT LEG COVER NO. 2

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.

13. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK COVER LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Detach the 2 clamps and remove the 2 covers.

14. REMOVE SEAT STAND FRAME CAP

(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the stand frame cap.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

15. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION LOCK RELEASE LEVER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Detach the claw and remove the release lever.

(c) Detach the 2 cable clamps and disconnect the 2 cables.

16. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) Removal

17. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) Removal

18. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT INNER BELT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

19. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION CARPET

(a) Cut off the tack pins which fasten the seat cushion carpet to the seat cushion pad, and then remove the seat cushion carpet from the seat cushion pad.

20. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

21. REMOVE NO. 3 SEAT CUSHION PAD LH

22. REMOVE NO. 3 SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the hog rings.

(b) Detach the fastening tape and remove the seatback cover.

23. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT STAY SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and seat stay.

24. REMOVE NO. 3 FOLD SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Detach the 2 cable clamps and disconnect the 2 cables.

(b) Detach the 2 clamps and remove the 2 cables.

25. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEATBACK CUSHION

(a) Remove the screw and seatback cushion.

26. REMOVE REAR LOWER SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL

(a) Detach the 3 claws and clip, and then remove the seatback lock bezel.

27. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE PAWL GUIDE

(a) Detach the 5 claws and remove the guide.

28. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE PAWL GUIDE

(a) Remove the screw and guide.

29. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

(a) While releasing the lock inside the headrest support with a screwdriver, remove the headrest.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

30. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST HANDLE

(a) Remove the snap ring and headrest handle.

31. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) LH Side:

(1) Open the fastener.

(2) Detach the 2 hooks.

(3) Pull out the center headrest storage bag.

(4) Remove the rear seat protector.

(5) Detach the 8 claws and remove the 4 headrest supports.

(b) RH Side:

(1) Detach the hook.

(2) Remove the rear seat protector.

(3) Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.

32. REMOVE NO. 3 SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover.

33. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT RECLINING COVER LH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Detach the claw and remove the cover.

34. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Detach the claw and remove the cover.

35. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE

(a) Detach the 2 cable clamps and disconnect the 2 cables.

(b) Detach the 2 clamps and remove the lock control cable.

36. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 2 nuts and lock striker.

37. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEATBACK COVER LH

(a) Detach the 3 claws and remove the cover.

38. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER LH

(a) Detach the 2 clamps and remove the cover.

39. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT RECLINING RELEASE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and release handle.
