Removal

BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

2. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (w/ Cool Box) Service and Repair

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Cool Box)

(a) Remove the front seat assembly LH Removal.

4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL CUSHION Removal

5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL CUSHION Removal

7. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal

8. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE REAR UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE CONSOLE CUP HOLDER BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Cool Box) Removal

14. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

15. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Cool Box) Removal

16. REMOVE COOLING BOX ASSEMBLY (w/ Cool Box) Removal

17. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and sensor.

(b) Disconnect the sensor connector, and then detach the clamp from the sensor bracket.
