Theft Deterrent System





THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH)





(a) Disconnect the H1, H3, H4, DA, DB, DC and DD ECU connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

*1: w/ Power Seat (Rear No. 2)

*2: w/o Power Seat (Rear No. 2)

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the H1, H3, H4, DA, DB, DC and DD ECU connectors.

(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage





*: w/ Glass Breakage Sensor

If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

2. CHECK BACK DOOR ECU





(a) Disconnect the V2 and V3 connectors.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
