Reassembly

SLIDING ROOF / CONVERTIBLE: SLIDING ROOF HOUSING: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL SLIDING ROOF DRIVE CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Hold down the window deflector.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the spring indicated by the arrow in the illustration is securely installed.

(b) Slide the drive cable in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install it.

(c) Slide each roof wind deflector lifter link in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install it, and then engage the claw.

2. ADJUST SLIDING ROOF DRIVE CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, align the matchmarks by sliding the drive cable in the directions indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

3. INSTALL ROOF REAR DRIP CHANNEL

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the drip channel.

4. INSTALL SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Insert the sunshade trim into the sliding roof housing.

(b) Install the sliding roof piece LH and RH.

(a) Install the drive gear and room light bracket with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

6. INSTALL SLIDING ROOF HOUSING REAR MOUNTING BRACKET RH

(a) Install the rear mounting bracket with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

7. INSTALL SLIDING ROOF HOUSING REAR MOUNTING BRACKET LH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
