17. CHECK FOR SHORT IN CAN BUS WIRES (NO. 2 CAN JUNCTION CONNECTOR - BACK DOOR ECU)

(a) Disconnect the D122 No. 2 CAN junction connector connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Disconnect the I8 slide door motor unit RH connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Disconnect the Y9 position control ECU and switch connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

39. CHECK FOR SHORT IN CAN BUS WIRES (MAIN BODY ECU)

(a) Disconnect the D14 main body ECU connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

40. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

(a) connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

(b) Disconnect the 2D and 2K instrument panel junction block connectors.





(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

41. REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU

(a) Replace the main body ECU with a new or normal one Removal.
