MIRROR (EXT): OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR GLASS: REMOVAL

HINT
* Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.
* The procedure described below is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR GLASS

(a) Push the lower part of the mirror surface and tilt it.

(b) Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

(c) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws at the upper part of the outer rear view mirror.

(d) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the outer mirror glass.

(e) Disconnect the connector.

HINT
If the vehicle is equipped with heater, disconnect the connector.
