SEAT: TRANSMITTER BATTERY: REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE TRANSMITTER HOUSING CASE





Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, pry apart transmitter housing cover.

NOTICE:
Do not use excessive force when prying apart the housing cover.

2. REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY





Remove the transmitter battery (lithium battery).

NOTICE:
* Do not push the terminals with your finger.
* Do not forcibly pry out the battery (lithium battery).
as the terminals may become damaged.
* Do not touch the battery with wet hands as water may cause it to rust.
* Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter as it may interfere with proper operation.

3. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY





Install a new battery (lithium battery) with the positive (+) side facing up, as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
* Be sure that the positive (+) side and the negative (-) side of the transmitter battery are matched up correctly.
* Be careful not to bend the transmitter battery electrode during insertion.
* Keep the transmitter case interior free of dust and oil.

(a) After installation, press any of the transmitter switches and check that the LED illuminates.

4. INSTALL TRANSMITTER HOUSING CASE





Install the case securely.
