Title
INITIALIZATION OF POWER BACK DOOR DURING PDS
Component
GENERAL INFORMATION
Models
'11 Sienna
INTRODUCTION:
As a result of the removal of the Short Pin, the "automatic open and close" and "jam protection" functions of the power back door will be inoperative due to loss of the power back door position. Initialize the power back door after installing the Short Pin in its original location during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).
NOTE:
- Any time the battery terminal has been disconnected, the power back door may need to be reinitialized.
- If the short pin is installed with the power sliding doors fully closed, the initialization may not be required because the power sliding door position memory is still stored in the microcomputer.
