SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

1. FRONT POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

(a) The driver seat is equipped with slide, reclining, lifter, front vertical and lumbar support adjustment functions.

(b) The front passenger seat is equipped with slide and reclining functions.

3. SYSTEM OPERATION

(a) The front power seat functions which can be adjusted with power seat motors and/or memorized are shown in the chart below.





(b) The seat memory switch sends memory switch information to the outer mirror control ECU assembly (driver side). Then the information is sent to the main body ECU via CAN. The information is received by the main body ECU and an instruction to memorize the seat position is sent to the front power seat switch via CAN. As a result, the seat position is memorized.
