Disassembly

LIGHTING (EXT): HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight)





(a) Turn the No. 2 headlight bulb, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to remove it.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the bulb glass with your fingers.

2. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight)





(a) Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to remove it.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the bulb glass with your fingers.

3. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight)





(a) Turn the front turn signal light bulb socket and bulb, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to remove them.

(b) Remove the front turn signal light bulb from the light socket.

4. REMOVE LIGHT CONTROL ECU (for HID Headlight)

(a) Turn the light control ECU, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to remove it.





NOTICE:
* Do not apply excessive force using tools, etc.
* Make sure that the o-ring is not damaged and is free of dirt and foreign matter. If the o-ring is damaged, water can leak into the headlight assembly, which can damage the light control ECU.

(b) Turn the light control ECU socket, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to disconnect it.





NOTICE:
Do not pull on the light control ECU while its socket is connected to the discharge headlight bulb.

5. REMOVE DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB (for HID Headlight)

(a) Release the set spring in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.





(b) Remove the discharge headlight bulb.





NOTICE:
Do not touch the bulb glass with your fingers.

6. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for HID Headlight)





(a) Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to remove it.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the bulb glass with your fingers.

7. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB (for HID Headlight)





(a) Turn the front turn signal light bulb socket and bulb, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to remove them.

(b) Remove the front turn signal light bulb from the light socket.
