DOOR LOCK: UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER

(a) While turning the steering wheel to the right and left, remove the 2 screws.





(b) Push the right and left sides of the lower steering column cover, and disengage the 4 claws.





(c) Insert fingers into the opening of the tilt lever of the lower steering column cover to detach the claw and lower steering column cover.





2. REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER

(a) Disengage the claw.





(b) Disengage the 4 clips and 2 guides, and remove the upper steering column cover.





3. REMOVE TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER Removal

4. REMOVE UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Insert the key into the ignition key cylinder.

(c) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws.
