Applicability

Introduction





Some 2011 Sienna vehicles may exhibit a condition where a leak is noticed at the drains of the front sliding roof assembly. This may be due to an insufficient amount of butyl sealer in the drain end caps. Replace the sliding roof assembly to address this condition.

Repair Procedure

1. Water test the vehicle to confirm water leak from front sliding roof assembly near the drains.

A. Using a hose with no nozzle direct water flow onto sliding roof assembly.

B. Continue direct water flow for at least 5 minutes or until leak is present.

HINT

Do not use high pressure water to force a leak.

2. If leak is present replace the front sliding roof assembly.

Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) applicable model and model year Repair Manual:

3. Confirm leak is no longer present in the area of the sliding roof assembly.
