B1451/51 - Compressor Solenoid Circuit
DESCRIPTION
In this circuit, the compressor and magnetic clutch receives a refrigerant compression demand signal from the air conditioning amplifier.
Based on this signal, the compressor and magnetic clutch changes the amount of compressor output.

PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH (SOLENOID VALVE)
(a) Disconnect the compressor and magnetic clutch (solenoid valve) connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH (SOLENOID VALVE)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH (SOLENOID VALVE) - BODY GROUND)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH (SOLENOID VALVE) - AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER)
(a) Disconnect the air conditioning amplifier connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

C -- REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER Removal
B -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Air Conditioning System (For Automatic Air Conditioning System)
