INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD: INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the instrument panel with the 5 ,
[]
Bolt D - Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
(b) Connect the connectors.
2. INSTALL ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY Installation
3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Installation
4. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Installation
5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL COVER
(a) Engage the 4 claws and 4 clips and install the instrument cluster finish panel cover.
6. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Engage the 5 claws and 2 clips and install the No. 1 instrument panel speaker panel.
7. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
HINT
Use the same procedure as for the No. 1 instrument panel speaker panel.
8. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR LOWER GARNISH RH Installation
9. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH Installation

11. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH Installation
12. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK CONTROL UNIT ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the shift lock control unit with the 4 nuts.
Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
13. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH CENTER PANEL ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect the connectors.
(b) Engage the 4 clips and install the instrument cluster finish center panel.
(c) Install the 4 screws.
14. INSTALL BOX BOTTOM MAT
(a) Install the box bottom mat.
15. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH LOWER CENTER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect the connectors.
(b) Engage the 4 claws and 2 clips and install the instrument cluster finish lower center panel.
(c) Install the 3 clips.
(d) Install the 2 bolts (w/o front console box).
16. INSTALL INSTRUMENT LOWER CENTER COVER (w/o Front Console Box)
(a) Engage the 7 clips and install the instrument lower center cover.
17. INSTALL INSTRUMENT LOWER CENTER COVER (w/ Front Console Box)
(a) Engage the 6 clips and install the instrument lower center cover.
18. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
(a) Install the instrument panel finish panel end RH with the clip.
19. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH
HINT
Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
20. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Engage the 5 clips and install the No. 2 instrument panel box door.
(b) Install the 3 screws.
(c) Engage the 2 claws and install the cover.
21. INSTALL NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
(a) Engage the 4 clips and install the No. 4 instrument panel register.
22. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Engage the 4 claws and 2 clips and install the instrument panel finish panel.
23. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH
(a) Engage the 5 claws and 2 guides and install the instrument side panel RH.
24. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the glove compartment door.
(b) Install the 2 bolts and 2 screws.
25. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
26. INSTALL NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ USB Audio System) Installation
27. INSTALL NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/o USB Audio System) Installation
28. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System) Installation
29. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System) Installation
30. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY Installation
31. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
(a) Engage the 11 clips and install the No. 1 instrument cluster finish panel.
32. INSTALL FLOOR SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Engage the 4 clips and install the floor shift position indicator housing.
33. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Turn the shift lever knob clockwise and install the shift lever knob onto the shift lever.
34. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH
(a) Engage the claws and 9 clips and install the No. 2 instrument cluster finish panel garnish.
35. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL
(a) Engage the claw and 5 clips and install the instrument panel finish panel.
36. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH

Use the same procedure as for the RH side.
37. INSTALL KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation
38. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER FINISH PANEL
(a) Engage the 3 claws and install the hood lock control lever.
(b) Engage the 3 claws and install the fuel lid lock open lever.
(c) Connect the connectors.
(d) Engage the 10 clips and 3 guides and install the No. 1 instrument panel lower finish panel.
(e) Install the 2 bolts.

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
