22. Front-rear Slide Pulse Abnormal

SEAT: AUTO ACCESS SEAT SYSTEM: 22: Front-rear Slide Pulse Abnormal
22 - Front-rear Slide Pulse Abnormal

DESCRIPTION

When the power seat switch assembly (front-rear slide switch) or No. 2 power seat switch assembly (front-rear slide switch) have been operated, the position control ECU assembly outputs driving voltage to drive the power seat motor assembly (front-rear slide motor). When the power seat motor assembly (front-rear slide motor) is driven, its pulse sensor sends the seat position information via pulse signal to the position control ECU assembly. Based on this signal, the position control ECU assembly stores the seat front-rear slide position.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When there is a malfunction in the auto access seat, use independent operation mode to ingress the auto access seat. In this case, until the auto access seat has completed the ingress operation, do not disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
* When there is a malfunction in the auto access seat, before beginning the troubleshooting procedure, first perform initialization Auto Access Seat System and verify the auto access seat operation. If the seat is still malfunctioning, perform the troubleshooting procedure.
* After inspecting and repairing the auto access seat, be sure to perform initialization Auto Access Seat System.
* After performing initialization, be sure to inspect the operation of the auto access seat Operation Check.
