DESCRIPTION

When the No. 2 power seat switch assembly (ingress and egress switch) has been operated, the position control ECU assembly outputs driving voltage to drive each motor. When a motor is driven, its pulse sensor sends the seat position information via pulse signal to the position control ECU assembly. Based on this signal, the position control ECU assembly stores the seat egress/ingress position.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When there is a malfunction in the auto access seat, use independent operation mode to ingress the auto access seat. In this case, until the auto access seat has completed the ingress operation, do not disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
* When another DTC for the auto access seat system is also output, first conduct diagnosis for that DTC using the flowchart Auto Access Seat System.
* When there is a malfunction in the auto access seat, before beginning the troubleshooting procedure, first perform initialization Auto Access Seat System and verify the auto access seat operation. If the seat is still malfunctioning, perform the troubleshooting procedure.
* After performing initialization, be sure to inspect the operation of the auto access seat Operation Check.

PROCEDURE

1. INITIALIZATION AUTO ACCESS SEAT SYSTEM

(a) Change to service operation mode and initialize the position information for the auto access seat Auto Access Seat System.

2. CHECK OPERATION

(a) Operate the No. 2 power seat switch assembly (ingress and egress switch) so that the auto access seat is operated.
