43. Swivel Origin Point Limit Switch Malfunction

SEAT: AUTO ACCESS SEAT SYSTEM: 43: Swivel Origin Point Limit Switch Malfunction
43 - Swivel Origin Point Limit Switch Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

When the No. 2 power seat switch assembly (ingress and egress switch) has been operated in the ingress direction, the position control ECU assembly outputs driving voltage to drive the power seat motor assembly (swivel motor) in the swivel right direction. When the auto access seat reaches the swivel origin point position, the limit switch assembly (swivel origin point switch) operates to send the origin point position signal to the position control ECU assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When there is a malfunction in the auto access seat, use independent operation mode to ingress the auto access seat. In this case, until the auto access seat has completed the ingress operation, do not disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
* When there is a malfunction in the auto access seat, before beginning the troubleshooting procedure, first perform initialization Auto Access Seat System and verify the auto access seat operation. If the seat is still malfunctioning, perform the troubleshooting procedure.
* After inspecting and repairing the auto access seat, be sure to perform initialization Auto Access Seat System.
* After performing initialization, be sure to inspect the operation of the auto access seat Operation Check.

PROCEDURE
