DESCRIPTION

During access seat mode swivel operation in the egress direction, while in the swivel terminal position of the swivel motor (mechanical lock detection area), the seat turn lock plate sub-assembly contacts the turn table panel sub-assembly, and the position control ECU assembly detects an excessive load condition for the swivel motor.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When there is a malfunction in the auto access seat, use independent operation mode to ingress the auto access seat. In this case, until the auto access seat has completed the ingress operation, do not disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
* When there is a malfunction in the auto access seat, before beginning the troubleshooting procedure, first perform initialization Auto Access Seat System and verify the auto access seat operation. If the seat is still malfunctioning, perform the troubleshooting procedure.
* After inspecting and repairing the auto access seat, be sure to perform initialization Auto Access Seat System.
* After performing initialization, be sure to inspect the operation of the auto access seat Operation Check.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK INSTALL PARTS CORRECTLY (SEAT TURN LOCK PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY)

(a) Remove the auto access seat unit Removal.

(b) Disassemble the auto access seat unit until it is in the condition shown in the illustration Disassembly.

(c) Using a vernier caliper, adjust the position of the seat turn lock plate to the specifications below.
