SEAT: AUTO ACCESS SEAT UNIT: REASSEMBLY - Continued

25. INSTALL NO. 2 WELCAB SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

(a) Remove the protective tape from the front tip of the No. 2 welcab seat track assembly.

(b) Engage the claw install the cap protector bar.

NOTICE:
* Do not allow the bearing (LM guide) to fall off the rail.
* If the bearing (LM guide) has fallen off the rail, it cannot be re-used, so replace the No. 2 welcab seat track assembly.

(c) Remove the protective tape from the rear tip of the No. 2 welcab seat track assembly, and apply MP grease to the No. 2 welcab track assembly as shown in the illustration.

(d) Install the No. 2 welcab seat track assembly with the 15 bolts.

Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

26. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT FLAT CUSHION RH (for Seat Lifter)

(a) Apply MP grease to the seat flat cushion as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the No. 1 seat flat cushion RH with the 2 screws.

27. INSTALL TURNTABLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the turntable panel with the 6 bolts.

HINT
Pass the No. 1 seat wire through the turntable panel while installing it.

Torque : 31 Nm (316 kgf-cm, 23 ft-lbf)

28. ADJUST ROTATION ORIGIN POINT

(a) Rotate the turntable panel in the direction shown in the illustration, and hold it in place so that there is no gap between the hook and striker pin.

(b) Using a vernier caliper, adjust the gap between the No. 3 seat holder stopper plate and the turntable panel contact area to the specified value below.

Standard:

Length A
6.0 mm (0.236 in.)

(c) Secure the No. 3 seat holder stopper plate with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

29. INSTALL WELCAB SEAT HARNESS CONNECTOR BRACKET

(a) Engage the 2 clamps and install the welcab seat harness connector bracket to the No. 1 seat wire.

30. INSTALL NO.1 SEAT WIRE

(a) Engage the clamp.

(b) Install the No. 1 seat wire with the welcab seat harness connector bracket together as a single unit to the turntable panel with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf)

31. INSTALL NO. 1 LIMIT SWITCH (for Seat Vertical Limit)

(a) Install the connector clamp to the connector.

(b) Apply adhesive to the threads of the 2 screws.

Adhesive:

Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or Equivalent.

(c) Install the No. 1 limit switch to the limit switch bracket with the 2 screws.

(d) Temporarily install the No. 1 limit switch with the limit switch bracket together as a single unit.

(e) Reconnect the No. 1 limit switch connector.

32. INSTALL WELCAB SEAT CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply MP grease to the welcab seat cylinder assembly in the positions shown in the illustration.

(b) Reconnect the welcab seat cylinder connector and install the welcab seat cylinder assembly.

33. INSTALL REAR WELCAB SEAT GUIDE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a plastic hammer, install 4 new bushes into the welcab seat link arm LH.

(b) Using a plastic hammer, install 4 new bushes into the welcab seat link arm RH.

(d) Using a 4 mm hexagonal wrench, install the front welcab seat guide with the 2 bolts, the 2 washers, and the 2 welcab seat arm guide pins.

Torque : 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

34. INSTALL NO. 3 SEAT HOLDER STOPPER PLATE (for LH Side)

(a) Install the No. 3 seat holder stopper plate with the screw.

35. INSTALL NO. 3 SEAT HOLDER STOPPER PLATE (for RH Side)

(a) Install the No. 3 seat holder stopper plate with the screw.

36. INSTALL FRONT WELCAB SEAT GUIDE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply MP grease to the locations shown in the illustration.

(b) Using a 4 mm hexagonal wrench, install the welcab seat guide front with the 2 bolts, the 2 washers, and the 2 welcab seat arm guide pins.

Torque : 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

37. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT HOLDER STOPPER PLATE (for LH Side)

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the No. 1 seat holder stopper plate.

38. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT HOLDER STOPPER PLATE (for RH Side)

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the No. 1 seat holder stopper plate.

39. INSTALL NO. 3 SHUTTER COVER LOCK (for LH Side)

(a) Apply double-sided tape to the positions shown in the illustration.

Align the top of the double-sided tape with the top of the No. 2 welcab seat link arm, and apply double-sided tape to the positions shown in the illustration.

Standard:

Length A
140 mm (5.511 in.)

Length B
50 mm (1.969 in.)

(b) Engage the 2 clips and install the No. 3 shutter cover lock.

40. INSTALL NO. 2 WELCAB SEAT LINK ARM

(a) Using a plastic hammer, install 2 new bushes to the No. 2 welcab seat link arm.

(b) Apply MP grease to the positions shown in the illustration.

(c) Using a 4 mm hexagonal wrench, install the No. 2 welcab seat link arm with the 2 bolts and the 2 washers.

Torque : 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

41. INSTALL NO. 1 SHUTTER COVER LOCK (for LH Side)

(a) Engage the 2 clips and install the No. 1 shutter cover lock.

42. INSTALL NO. 2 SHUTTER COVER LOCK

(a) Engage the 2 clips and install the No. 2 shutter cover lock.

43. INSTALL NO. 3 SHUTTER COVER LOCK (for RH Side)

(a) Apply double-sided tape to the positions shown in the illustration.

Align the top of the double-sided tape with the top of the No. 2 welcab seat link arm, and apply double-sided tape to the positions shown in the illustration.

Standard:

140 mm (5.511 in.)

Length B
50 mm (1.969 in.)

(b) Engage the 2 clips and install the No. 3 shutter cover lock.

44. INSTALL NO. 3 WELCAB SEAT LINK ARM

(a) Using a plastic hammer, install 2 new bushes to the welcab seat link arm No. 3.

(b) Apply MP grease to the positions shown in the illustration.

(c) Using a 4 mm hexagonal wrench, install the No. 3 welcab seat link arm with the 2 bolts and the 2 washers.

Torque : 13 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

45. INSTALL NO. 1 SHUTTER COVER LOCK (for RH Side)

(a) Engage the 2 clips and install the shutter cover lock.

46. INSTALL NO. 4 SHUTTER COVER LOCK

(a) Engage the 2 clips and install the shutter cover lock.

47. INSTALL NO. 1 WELCAB SEAT ROD SUPPORT BRACKET

(a) Install the No.1 welcab seat rod support bracket with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 31 Nm (316 kgf-cm, 23 ft-lbf)

48. INSTALL NO. 1 WELCAB SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

(a) Clean and degrease the connecting portions using non-residue solvent, and install the 2 No. 1 welcab seat track assemblies to the welcab seat guide front.

(b) Remove the protective tape, and apply MP grease to the positions shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
* Do not allow the bearing (LM guide) to fall off the rail.
* If the bearing (LM guide) has fallen off the rail, it cannot be re-used, so replace the No. 1 welcab seat track assembly.

(c) Using a 5 mm socket hexagon wrench, install the 2 No. 1 turn seat spacers, the 2 new No. 1 panel seals, and the 4 No. 2 turn seat spacers with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
