Reassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat): REASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.
* The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the front seatback spring assembly with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION LOWER SHIELD LH

(a) Engage the hook and install the seat cushion lower shield LH.

(b) Tighten the screw.

3. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION LOWER SHIELD RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

4. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (for Driver Side)

(a) Install the seat cushion edge protector LH.

(b) Tighten the screw.

5. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Driver Side)

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

6. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Install the seat cushion edge protector LH.

(b) Tighten the screw.

7. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Front Passenger Side)

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER

(a) Engage the guide claw and install the seat reclining adjuster inside cover.

9. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Engage the guide and install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

10. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

11. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

(a) Set the seat cushion heater with the name stamp side facing the seat cushion cover.

(b) Install the seat cushion heater with new 33 tack pins.

12. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the front seat cushion cover with 16 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Do not soil or scratch the front cushion cover.
* When installing hog rings, minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

13. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Engage the 6 hooks and install the seat cushion cover with the pad.

(b) Engage the 2 hooks.

14. INSTALL SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

(a) Set the seatback heater with the name stamp side facing the seatback cover.

(b) Install the seatback heater with new 19 tack pins.

15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation

16. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the front seatback cover with 4 new hog rings.

(b) Engage the fastening tape.

NOTICE:
* Do not soil or scratch the front seatback cover.
* When installing hog rings, minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(c) Install the seatback pad and cover with the nut.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

17. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

(a) Align the protruding portion of the front seat headrest support with the installation groove of the front seatback frame.

(b) Engage the 2 claws and install the front seat headrest support.

HINT
Use the same procedure for both sides.

(c) Using hog ring pliers, install the front seatback with 3 new hog rings.

(d) Install the new cable tie.

(e) Engage the 4 clamps and install the side airbag wire.

18. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER KNOB

(a) Install the snap ring to the knob.

(b) Install the reclining adjuster knob to the front seat frame with adjuster.

19. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEATBACK HOOK

(a) Install the No. 1 front seatback hook with the screw.

(b) Engage the 4 claws and install the No. 1 front seatback hook.

20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the front seat armrest assembly with the bolt.

Torque : 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

21. INSTALL SEAT ARMREST COVER LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the seat armrest cover LH.

22. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL (w/ Seat Heater System)

(a) Engage the clip and install the seat heater control.

23. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the front seatback cover with 3 new hog rings.

(b) Engage the 4 connectors and 5 wire clamps, and install the front seat wire.

24. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and clip, and install the front seat cushion shield LH.

(b) Tighten the screw.

25. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE

(a) Install the vertical adjusting handle with the screw.

26. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

(a) Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle LH.

27. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

28. INSTALL SEAT SLIDE POSITION SENSOR PROTECTOR Installation

29. INSTALL SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR Installation

30. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD RH

(a) Engage the clip and 2 claws, and install the front seat cushion inner shield RH.

31. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) Installation

32. INSTALL SEAT LEG COVER LH

(a) Install the seat leg cover LH with the screw.

(b) Install the clip.

33. INSTALL SEAT LEG COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

34. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LEG COVER LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the front seat leg cover LH.

(b) Tighten the screw.

35. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LEG COVER RH
