SEAT: REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman): DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE REAR SEAT LEG REST RH

(a) Disconnect the seat cable.





(b) Remove the 4 bolts and rear seat leg rest RH.

3. REMOVE NO. 1 RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the No. 1 reclining adjuster release handle RH.

4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle RH.

5. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.





(b) Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

6. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

7. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.





(b) Disengage the claw.

(c) Disconnect the seat cable and remove the No. 1 rear seat reclining cover RH.

(d) Remove the seat cable.

8. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER LH

(a) Remove the screw.





(b) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the No. 1 rear seat reclining cover LH.

9. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.





11. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.





12. REMOVE FOLD SEAT LOCK LEVER

(a) Remove the 2 nuts and fold seat lock lever.





(b) Remove the screw and the assist grip strap.

13. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE LH

(a) Remove the rear seat lock control cable LH.





14. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE

(a) Remove the rear seat lock control cable.





(b) Remove the rear seat lock control cable LH.





15. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and the seat belt anchor.





(b) Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts.





(c) Using a T55 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts and the rear seatback assembly.

16. REMOVE SEAT ARMREST CAP RH

(a) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the seat armrest cap RH.





17. REMOVE SEAT ARMREST CAP LH

Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

18. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the bolt and armrest.





19. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY LH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

20. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER

(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear seat shoulder belt hole cover.





21. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK UPPER LOCK BEZEL

(a) Remove the 2 screws and rear seatback upper lock bezel.





22. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

(a) Disengage the hook.





(b) Remove the 3 hog rings.





(c) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat headrest supports.





HINT
Use the same procedure for both sides.

23. REMOVE NO. 1 SEATBACK COVER ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the seatback cover and pad onto the seatback frame.

(b) Disengage the fastening tape and remove the 4 hog rings.





(c) Remove the No. 1 seatback cover assembly RH.

24. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER

(a) Disengage the 2 claws.





(b) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear seat shoulder belt hole cover.





25. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY Removal

26. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK SPRING DAMPER

(a) Remove the 2 nuts and the rear seatback spring damper.





27. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE

(a) Remove the 4 rear seat lock control cables.





28. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER

(a) Disengage the 4 hooks and remove the 2 springs.





(b) Remove the snap ring and pin, remove the rear seat lock control lever.





29. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION COVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 15 hooks and remove the seat cushion cover and pad.





(b) Remove the 12 hog rings and the No. 1 seat cushion cover assembly.





30. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK ASSEMBLY LH

(a) for Front Side:

(1) Remove the 2 nuts and the rear seat cushion lock assembly.





(b) for Rear Side:

(1) Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seat cushion lock assembly.





31. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK ASSEMBLY RH
