Reassembly

LIGHTING (EXT): HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight)

(a) Install the front turn signal light bulb into the light socket.

(b) Turn the front turn signal light bulb socket and bulb, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to install them.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight)

(a) Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to install it.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the bulb glass with your fingers.

3. INSTALL NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB (for Halogen Headlight)

(a) Turn the No. 2 headlight bulb, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to install it.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the bulb glass with your fingers.

4. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB (for HID Headlight)

(a) Install the front turn signal light bulb into the light socket.

(b) Turn the front turn signal light bulb socket and bulb, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to install them.

5. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB (for HID Headlight)

(a) Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install it.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the bulb glass with your fingers.

6. INSTALL DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB (for HID Headlight)

(a) Install the discharge headlight bulb.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the bulb glass with your fingers.

(b) Lock the set spring in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

7. INSTALL LIGHT CONTROL ECU (for HID Headlight)

(a) Turn the light control ECU socket, in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration, to connect it.

NOTICE:
* Make sure that the light control ECU has an o-ring installed. When installing a new light control ECU, install a new o-ring as well.
* Make sure that the o-ring is not damaged and is free of dirt and foreign matter. If the o-ring is damaged, water can leak into the headlight assembly, which can damage the light control ECU.
* Do not pull on the light control ECU while its socket is connected to the discharge headlight bulb.

(b) Confirm that the red line on the output harness is not twisted, and store the output harness in the headlight, making sure that the harness is not caught on or pinched by anything.

NOTICE:
* To prevent partial engagement, push the light control ECU in all the way, and turn it until the lock mark is aligned.
* Do not apply excessive force using tools, etc.
