INTRODUCTION:
Some 2011 Sienna vehicles may exhibit a condition where the 2nd row seat Ottoman may become inoperative. The Ottoman control cables have been updated for this condition.
Refer to the repair procedure outlined in this bulletin to correct this condition.

This TSB applies to vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VIN shown.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Remove the 2nd row seat from the slide mechanism and tilt back to gain access to the Ottoman control cable and bracket.
Refer to the Repair Manual within E-TAS / TIS library:

2. Remove the Ottoman control cable assembly from the seat lever and Ottoman assembly.
3. Inspect the support bracket angle (see Figure 1).
A. Using a straight edge, confirm the support bracket that holds the cable in place is at a 90° angle.







B. If angle is not correct, bend the support bracket to a 90° angle.

4. Replace the cable assembly with a new cable and secure the cable to the support bracket.
5. Install the 2nd row seat assembly back into the slide mechanism and confirm Ottoman operation.

6. Repeat same steps for opposite side.
7. Confirm proper operation of 2nd row seat and Ottoman function.
