Repair Procedure

Repair procedures are for both 3rd row manual seats.

1. Position seat into table top position (seat latched and seatback down).

2. Unlatch seat from strikers and suspend mid way between the stowed and latched position.

3. Using needle nose pliers, remove the rubber bumper from the rear legs. There are 2 per seat. See Figures 3 and 4.

4. Using side cutters take the new rubber bumper and cut off the tail flush with the bumper.

5. Install the new rubber bumper into the rear seat leg.

6. Confirm rubber bumper is completely installed.

Rubber bumper should only have 4 mm visible from rear leg assembly.

If more than 4 mm is visible, rubber bumper is not properly seated and step 5 must be repeated.

7. Repeat above steps for all 4 rear legs on 3rd row seats.

8. Return seats to the upright and latched position and road test to confirm rattle noise has been eliminated.
