Intake Manifold

INTAKE MANIFOLD (for 1GR-FE 2WD)

Install and tighten the 10 bolts uniformly in several steps.

Torque 26 Nm (265 kgf-cm, 19 ft-lbf)


INTAKE MANIFOLD (for 1GR-FE 4WD and Pre-runner)

Install and tighten the 10 bolts uniformly in several steps.

Torque 26 Nm (265 kgf-cm, 19 ft-lbf)




INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK

Using the socket hexagon wrench 8, install the intake air surge tank with the 4 bolts.

Torque 28 Nm (286 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf)


Install the 2 intake air surge tank nuts.

Torque 28 Nm (286 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf)


Install the 2 surge tank stays with the 4 bolts.

Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)


Install the oil baffle plate with the bolt.

Torque 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf)


Install the throttle body bracket with the 2 bolts.

Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)


Install the clutch flexible hose bracket with the nut (w/ Manual Transmission).

Torque 24 Nm (245 kgf-cm, 18 ft-lbf)




INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK

Install a new gasket and the intake air surge tank with the 2 nuts.

Torque 28 Nm (286 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf)


Using an 8 mm socket hexagon wrench, install the 4 bolts.

Torque 28 Nm (286 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf)

Install the 3 upper bolts which are used to secure the 2 surge tank stays and throttle body bracket.

Torque 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 16 ft-lbf)
