Removal

MIRROR: OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (w/ Power Window) Disassembly

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (w/o Power Window) Disassembly

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY Disassembly

5. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Double Cab) Disassembly

6. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Access Cab) Disassembly

7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Window) Disassembly

8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Window) Disassembly

9. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the outer rear view mirror connector (w/ Power mirror).

(b) Remove the 3 nuts.

(c) Disengage the claw and remove the outer rear view mirror.

10. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR





(a) Apply protective tape to the outer circumference of the outer rear view mirror, as shown in the illustration.

(b) Using a screwdriver with its tip taped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws.

(c) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the outer rear view mirror.
