1GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ECM: REMOVAL

NOTICE:
* Perform RESET MEMORY (AT initialization) when replacing the automatic transmission assembly, engine assembly or ECM A750E Automatic Transmission System.
* Perform REGISTRATION (VIN registration) when replacing the ECM Programming and Relearning.
* If the ECM has been replaced or RESET MEMORY (AT initialization) has been performed, set up the function of the ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) temperature warning light A750E Automatic Transmission System.
* Perform the Throttle body initialization when replacing the ECM Installation.

1. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER RH Removal

3. REMOVE ECM

(a) Disconnect the 6 ECM connectors, 6 No. 2 junction block connectors and wire harness clamp.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts and nut and the ECM.





4. REMOVE NO. 2 JUNCTION BLOCK

(a) Remove the bolt.





(b) Disengage the claw and remove the No. 2 junction block.

5. REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 screws and the No. 2 ECM bracket.





6. REMOVE ECM BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 screws and the ECM bracket.
