SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: REAR AIRBAG SENSOR (for Access Cab): REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing Service Precautions.

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.
* The procedure listed below is the LH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

2. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the rear seat outer belt assembly Removal.

3. REMOVE REAR AIRBAG SENSOR





(a) Disconnect the connector from the rear airbag sensor.

NOTICE:
Disconnect the connector with the rear airbag sensor installed.

(b) Remove the nut and disengage the guide and remove the rear airbag sensor.
