C0-41 - Antenna Shorted
DESCRIPTION
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT
After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION
(a) Check that the satellite radio antenna cord is securely connected to the radio receiver assembly connector.
OK:
The cord is securely connected.
NG -- RECONNECT CONNECTOR CORRECTLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK ANTENNA CORD
(a) Disconnect the satellite radio antenna assembly connector.
(b) Disconnect the radio receiver assembly connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(d) Reconnect the satellite radio antenna assembly connector.
(e) Reconnect the radio receiver assembly connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE ANTENNA CORD Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the satellite radio antenna assembly connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(c) Reconnect the satellite radio antenna assembly connector.
NG -- REPLACE SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
(a) Replace the radio receiver with a normally functioning one and check if the same problem occurs again.
(1) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(2) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.
OK:
Same problem does not occur.
NG -- REPLACE SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- END
