This circuit sends the park/neutral position switch assembly signals to the clearance warning ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the D35 switch connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY*
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH - CLEARANCE WARNING ECU)





(a) Disconnect the D35 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the J35 clearance warning ECU connector.

(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
