Headlamp Dimmer Relay: Testing and Inspection

LIGHTING: HEADLIGHT DIMMER RELAY: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. REMOVE HEADLIGHT DIMMER RELAY (DIM)

(a) Remove the dimmer relay from the engine room relay box.





2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER RELAY

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.

3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT DIMMER RELAY
