SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: AIRBAG CUT-OFF SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag assembly Removal.

3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal

4. REMOVE AIRBAG CUT-OFF SWITCH

(a) Detach the 2 claws to remove the switch.
