Parking Assist Switch: Testing and Inspection

PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: CLEARANCE SONAR MAIN SWITCH: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT DRIVE MONITOR SWITCH

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard Resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the monitor switch.

(b) Inspect the switch illumination.

(1) Connect the positive (+) lead of the battery to terminal 1 (ILL+) and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6 (ILL-).

(2) Check that the LED comes on.

OK:

LED comes on.

If the result is not as specified, replace the monitor switch.
