Applicability

Introduction

Some 2010-2012 Model year Tundra vehicles may exhibit a condition where surface rust or corrosion is present on the leading edge step plate or wing of the rear chrome bumper. Improvements have been made to the chrome bumpers to resist rust and corrosion. Follow the procedures listed in this bulletin to address this condition.

1. Confirm surface corrosion or rust is present on the rear bumper.

2. If rust or corrosion exist replace the rear bumper assembly.
