Applicability

Introduction

Some 2007 - 2012 model year Tundra trucks may exhibit a condition where the attachment bolt or washer for the truck bed assembly is showing signs of rust or corrosion. Replace the bed bolts and washers to address this condition.

Production Change Information

This bulletin applies to:

ALL 2007 - 2009 TMMI built vehicles.

ALL 2007 - 2011 TMMTX built vehicles.








2012 TMMTX built vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown.

Repair Procedure

1. Confirm rust/corrosion is present on truck bed bolt or washer.

2. Remove and replace all truck bed bolts.

NOTE

^ 6 bolts for 5.5 ft and 6.5 ft bed.

^ 8 bolts for 8.1 ft bed.

^ Replacement truck bed bolts are one time use only. If bolts are removed for any reason, new bolts are required.

Torque: 66 N*m (673 kgf*cm, 49 ft*lbf)
