EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER (for X-Runner): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Removal

2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE Removal

3. REMOVE AIR INTAKE DUCT LH





(a) Remove the 4 screws and air intake duct LH.

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

(a) Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts, 10 screws and 4 clips.

(c) Detach the 12 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

(a) Remove the clip, 5 bolts and front bumper lower cover.

7. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT (for 4WD)





(a) Remove the 4 clips and cool air intake duct.

8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER LOWER COVER (for 4WD)





(a) Remove the clip, 5 bolts and front bumper lower cover.

9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

12. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BAR REINFORCEMENT LH Removal
