The main body ECU receives a door open/closed signal from each door courtesy light switch.

PROCEDURE
1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH)
(a) Using the Techstream, read the Data List Interior Lighting System.

C -- INSPECT REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
A -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Interior Lighting System
2. INSPECT FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the front door courtesy light switch Removal.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPLACE FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU)
(a) Disconnect the O5 or N5 front door courtesy light switch connector.
(b) Remove the main body ECU Removal.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
for LH
for RH
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
4. INSPECT REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the rear door courtesy light switch Removal.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPLACE REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU)
(a) Disconnect the O6 or N7 rear door courtesy light switch connector.
(b) Disconnect the F8 or F9 main body ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
for LH
for RH
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
