DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when a malfunction occurs in the speakers.

WIRING DIAGRAM
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
After replacing the radio and display receiver assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, XM radio ID registration is necessary (w/ SDARS System).
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
(a) Disconnect the connectors from the radio and display receiver assembly, EQ relays, telematics transceiver* and speakers.
*: w/ Manual (SOS) Switch
(b) Measure the resistance between the radio and display receiver assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.
Standard Resistance:
(c) w/ Manual (SOS) Switch
(1) Measure the resistance between the telematics transceiver and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.
Standard Resistance:
(d) Measure the resistance between each of the front No. 1 speaker assemblies and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.
Standard Resistance:
(e) Measure the resistance between each of the rear No. 1 speaker assemblies and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.
Standard Resistance:
(f) Measure the resistance between each of the rear No. 2 speaker assemblies and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
(a) Inspect the front No. 1 speaker assembly Front Door Speaker.
NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
(a) Temporarily replace the front No. 2 speaker assembly with a new or normally functioning one Removal.
OK:
Malfunction disappears.
Result:
B -- END (FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WAS DEFECTIVE)
A -- Continue to next step.
4. INSPECT REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
(a) Inspect the rear No. 1 speaker assembly Rear Door Speaker.
NG -- REPLACE REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. INSPECT REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
(a) Inspect the rear No. 2 speaker assembly Back Door Speaker.
NG -- REPLACE REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
6. INSPECT EQ RELAY
(a) Inspect the EQ relay Woofer Speaker Switch.
Result:
B -- REPLACE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Removal
C -- REPLACE EQ RELAY
A -- Continue to next step.
7. INSPECT TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
