INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. CHECK SPEAKER

(a) Check the malfunctioning speakers.

2. CHECK FRONT SIDE SPEAKER

(a) Check the malfunctioning speakers.

B -- INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

C -- INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH
A -- Continue to next step.

3. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the H1*1 and/or I1*2 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.





*1: for RH

*2: for LH

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER - FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER)

*1: for RH

*2: for LH

(a) Disconnect the H1*1 and/or I1*2 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the G10*1 and/or G1*2 front No. 2 speaker assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

for RH
for LH










NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Removal

5. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Temporarily replace the front No. 2 speaker assembly with a new or normally functioning one Removal.

OK:

Malfunction disappears.

NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER)

(a) Disconnect the G6 radio receiver assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the G10*1 and/or G1*2 front No. 2 speaker assembly connector.

*1: for RH

*2: for LH

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

for RH
for LH










NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Removal

7. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Temporarily replace the front No. 2 speaker assembly RH with a new or normally functioning one Removal.

OK:

Malfunction disappears.

NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY RH
OK -- Continue to next step.

8. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER RH)

(a) Disconnect the F39 telematics transceiver connector.

(b) Disconnect the G10 front No. 2 speaker assembly RH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

9. INSPECT TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER

(a) Remove the telematics transceiver Removal.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

10. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)

(a) Disconnect the G6 radio receiver assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the F39 telematics transceiver connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Removal

11. INSPECT REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Temporarily replace the rear No. 1 speaker assembly with a new or normally functioning one Removal.

OK:

Malfunction disappears.

NG -- REPLACE REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

12. INSPECT REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Temporarily replace the rear No. 2 speaker assembly with a new or normally functioning one Removal.

OK:

Malfunction disappears.

NG -- REPLACE REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

13. INSPECT RELAY (EQ RLY)

(a) Remove the relay.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE RELAY
OK -- Continue to next step.

14. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER)

*1: for RH

*2: for LH

(a) Disconnect the G5 radio receiver assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the J1*1 and/or K1*2 rear No. 1 speaker assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

for RH
for LH










NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

15. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER - RELAY)

*1: for RH

*2: for LH

(a) Disconnect the J1*1 and/or K1*2 rear No. 1 speaker assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the relay connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

for RH
for LH










NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

16. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER - RELAY)

*1: for RH

*2: for LH

(a) Disconnect the W5*1 and/or W6*2 rear No. 2 speaker assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the relay connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

for RH
for LH










NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

17. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER)

(a) Disconnect the G5 radio receiver assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the W5*1 and/or W6*2 rear No. 2 speaker assembly connector.

*2: for LH

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
