2GR-FE FUEL: FUEL PUMP: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply a light coat of gasoline to 2 new O-rings, and install them onto the fuel pressure regulator.

(b) Install the fuel pressure regulator to the fuel filter.

2. INSTALL FUEL PUMP WITH FILTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the fuel pump spacer onto the fuel pump with filter assembly.





(b) Install a new fuel pump filter seal onto the fuel pump assembly with filter.





(c) Apply a coat of gasoline to the fuel pump filter seal.

(d) Engage the 5 claws on the fuel filter and install the fuel pump with filter assembly.

NOTICE:
* Make sure that the O-ring is not cut or pinched during the installation.
* Engage the claws securely.
* Do not remove the suction filter.

3. INSTALL FUEL SUCTION PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the No. 1 fuel suction support to the fuel filter.





(b) Install the fuel pump filter tube while aligning it to the installation position of the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

(c) Connect the jet pump nozzle to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

(d) Install the spring to the fuel suction plate shaft and install it to the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

(e) Engage the 2 claws of the fuel suction support and install the fuel filter and the fuel pump onto the fuel sub-tank.





(f) Install a new E-ring.

(g) Connect the fuel pump connector to the fuel pump.





(h) Connect the fuel pump connector to the fuel suction plate.
