APPLICABILITY:
INTRODUCTION:
^ With the start of 2012 MY, Toyota Genuine all season mats will be provided along with carpet floor mats.
^ 2013 model year vehicles are equipped with several styles of drivers side floor mat retaining clips to secure the floor mat in the correct position. In addition, some models may utilize retaining clips for passenger's side floor mats as well.
Follow the appropriate installation procedure to attach the driver's side and passenger's side (if applicable) floor mat to the vehicle carpet using the floor mat retaining clips during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS). Be sure to review the entire content of this service bulletin with service and detail staff.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: HOOK STYLE
1. Verify that the driver and passenger side (if applicable) floor mats are for the correct model and model year they are being installed in.
2. Attach the driver and passenger side (if applicable) floor mats to the vehicle carpet using the clips. Secure the mat by inserting the retaining clips through the grommet holes.
3. Verify proper installation
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: HOOK STYLE WITH LOCKING CLIP
1. Verify that the driver and passenger side (if applicable) floor mats are for the correct model and model year they are being installed in.
2. Attached the retention clip to the floor by inserting the retention clip claws into the floor eyelet.
3. To lock the retention clip in place insert the locking clip of the retention clip into the designated hole.
4. Align the floor mat holes with the retention clip hooks and place the floor mat holes onto the retention clip hooks.
5. Verify proper installation.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: PRE-INSTALLED KNOB STYLE
1. Verify that the driver and passenger side (if applicable) floor mats are for the correct model and model year they are being installed in.
2. Align the floor mat holes with the retention clip knobs and place the floor mat holes onto the retention clip knobs.
3. Turn the retention clip knobs a quarter of a turn to lock in place and verify the "triangle" marks on the retention clip knob and floor mat are aligned.
4. Verify proper installation.
