Sunshade, Removing And Installing

Removing







- Remove sunroof panel.
- Move trim frame forward and up out of roof opening.
- Remove slide - 1 - from sun shade (three pieces on each side) and pull out of guide channels in forward direction.







- Disconnect spring - 1 - on both sides with narrow assembly lever, screwdriver, etc., from guide part - 2 - (arrow - A -). Spring - 1 - is not completely visible when installed. (Guide part - 2 - can be slid in direction of arrow - B -).
- Push sun shade back as far as possible open position (arrow - B -) without allowing springs - 1 - to engage again.







- Lift up sun shade - 1 - and pull up and out of sunroof opening.

Installing







- Install sun shade - 2 - from above, in sunroof opening. - 1 - on both sides in guide channels and screw together with sun shade. Always use new screws (micro-encapsulated).







- Slide sun shade open (arrow - B -) until springs automatically engage in guide parts - 2 -.
- Install trim frame in assembly from above.
- Install sunroof glass panel.
