Electrical Equipment, Removing (Multivan)

Auxiliary Battery - A1 -, removing

CAUTION: Before working on any part of electrical system obtain radio code. Disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap.

- Auxiliary Battery - A1 - is in driver's seat frame.
- Remove single seat (passenger compartment).
- Push driver's seat to full forward position.







- Pull on locking lever - 1 - (interior side of seat frame), push seat further forward.
- Disconnect auxiliary batteries.

CAUTION: Insulate auxiliary batteries positive (B+) connection, if engine is to be started. Danger of a short-circuit is result of charging current.







- Bend back rear seat frame trim upper section and disconnect 110/220V Refrigerator connector - U12 - - arrow A -.
- Unclip rear seat frame trim, remove from seat frame.







- Loosen nut of bracket - 1 -, remove Auxiliary Battery - A1 - from seat frame.

Fluorescent light - W8 - left, removing







- Pry off cover - 1 - with screwdriver.







- Remove recessed screws - 1 -, remove left Fluorescent Light - W8 - and disconnect connector - 2 -.

Interior light - W7 - center, removing







- Pry out center Interior Light - W7 - - 1 -, pull off connector - 2 -.
